Our menus are refined by our belief in provenance, sustainability, seasonality and locally sourced product. Celebrating fresh, seasonal local produce and incorporating produce from our own farm at Kumeu. 

We pride ourselves in serving ‘real food’ which uses seasonal ingredients of the highest quality. Using honest cooking techniques that showcase the ingredient and not hide or over complicate them.

Events venue

Within a thirty minute drive of Auckland’s CBD, Provenance’s large north-facing restaurant at Matua Valley is surrounded by expansive lawns and gardens. 

Experience the HIPGROUP production hub and visit our on-site kitchen garden, where many of the ingredients on your menu are grown.

Provenance is transformed after hours to create the perfect space for a private dinner, cocktail event or wedding reception. 

Open fires ensure a cosy room during the colder months, while in summer the sun shines down upon our alfresco dining area.
